The numbered orange areas represent digital workstations. The Chicago Art Department offers a range of Apple MacIntosh workstations capapble of basic digital imaging to advanced video editing to audio recording. CAD is in possession of 11 Apple MacIntosh computers of varying models. (see equipment list)

The blue areas represent analog workareas where students can engage in drawing, painting, cutting pasting, and anything else that requires a good ol' fashion art mess.

LARGE-OPEN SPACE
The first level offers wide open loft-style space which can be immediately transformed to meet particular needs. This space has been used for everything from construction, to performance, to large group meetings, to public speakers.
